With the physical structure of the legacy copper-wire telephone network in the UK, BT has used the existing wires, within spending limits. This means there are still some areas where ADSL broadband is not possible, especially in country areas, and only around 50% of the UK addresses have a cable option.

Things are improving all the time with ADSL and ADSL2+ (signalling methods used to carry broadband) and we can provide a download connection of up to 24Mb and upload speeds of 1Mb too. Note...
